My recent visit embraces me with the innermost tranquil of peace, spirituality, and the feeling of oneself. The divine goddess showered with eternal peace and the journey to the Pathibhara, is one of the journeys which could trace the feeling in the memoir of the heart. I embarked on an unforgettable journey to Pathibhara, filled with awe-inspiring landscapes and a deep sense of spirituality. Each step brought me closer to my destination, and my anticipation grew. I encountered fellow trekkers along the way, exchanging stories and sharing the sense of adventure. The trail challenged me at times, but the breathtaking scenery, snowy trail, rhododendron, and the knowledge of the sacred destination awaiting me kept me more motivated to reach the destination.

Located in the eastern part of Nepal, in the beautiful district of Taplejung, is the revered Pathibhara Mata Temple also known as Mukkumlung, a revered location for Hindu and Limbu pilgrims. The temple is situated 19.4 kilometers northeast of the Phungling Municipality situated at an altitude of 3,794 meters (12,448 feet) above sea level, this holy shrine is a popular pilgrimage destination for both Hindus and Buddhists. With its breathtaking natural beauty, spiritual significance, and cultural heritage, Pathibhara Mata Temple holds a special place in the hearts of the devotees who visit this sacred site seeking blessings and solace.

Nestled amidst the rugged mountains of eastern Nepal, the Pathibhara Mata Temple is a sacred pilgrimage site that holds immense significance for Hindus and Buddhists alike. The temple is in Phungling Municipality of Taplejung district, which is in the eastern part of Nepal and can be reached via various routes. There is numerous road connectivity, and the recent development of the Tamor Corridor made it easier to reach Taplejung. After reaching Taplejung, devotes can hire a jeep to reach Kaflepati. The route to Pathibhara Mata Temple starts from Kaflepati which used to start from Tallo Phedi. From Kaflepati, one can trek for about 5-7 hours through beautiful landscapes, terraced fields, dense forests, and picturesque villages to reach the temple. The trek is moderate in difficulty and offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges along the way.

The trek to Pathibhara Mata Temple is not only a pilgrimage but also an opportunity to experience the rich culture and lifestyle of the local people. The region is predominantly inhabited by the Limbu community, and one can witness their unique customs, traditions, and craftsmanship during the journey. The locals are known for their warm hospitality and friendly nature, which adds to the overall charm of the trip
